AccordionArtist.com launched in 2005 as the brainchild of accordionist Mike Schneider. Mike has been playing the accordion for more than 35 years and has been honored locally and nationally with awards and nominations from numerous organizations, including WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry).

Mike and his band - the self-titled Mike Schneider Band - specialize in polka music, performing more than 100 gigs annually throughout the Midwest. The Mike Schneider Band reached a national television audience during their 2002 appearance on Food Nation with Bobby Flay on the Food Network. In 2008, Mike started his family music venture with Pint Size Polkas. Since that time, he's visited more than 1,400 schools and libraries in 30 states, promoting the accordion and polka music.
